Mitsubishi Motors required a unique way to recognise and reward top performing sales and dealership staff from both New Zealand and Australia.
They asked event specialists OneNineFive for “an exceptional automotive experience that had never been done before”.
Finding a location accessible for New Zealand and Australian qualifiers, along with all on-ground requirements (accommodation, conferencing, local experiences, transfers, restaurants) was one thing. Creating an exceptional automotive experience, aligned with their brand and fleet was another!
With the event scheduled for mid-winter in New Zealand the challenges were significant. Airport, road closures and weather disruptions are common. OneNineFive needed the ideal location and a world-class Plan A, with a rock-solid Plan B – and to be ready to react to changes as they came.
A site visit was made to Queenstown, New Zealand. This beautiful lakeside town is a true winter paradise, with excellent infrastructure and services for Incentive and Reward programmes.
It was the ideal destination to deliver Mitsubishi Motors a hi-octane winter driving experience in the Southern Alps!

OneNineFive collaborated with The Southern Hemisphere Proving Ground (an exclusive vehicle testing facility) and other local operators. They created a week programme of events and driving experiences unlike anything seen before in the Australasian automotive sector.
